CADR Professor addresses major dementia conference

Professor Julie Williams, Associate Director of CADR and the lead for the Dementia Research Institute at Cardiff University, addressed a plenary session at the Alzheimer's Association International Conference 2017 in London on 18th July.
The AAIC is the largest international meeting dedicated to advancing dementia science. Each year, AAIC unites the world’s leading researchers, next generation investigators, clinicians and the care research community to share discoveries in basic and translational research that will lead to methods of prevention and treatment, and improvements in diagnosis for Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
Professor Williams shared recent findings in the genetics of Alzheimer's disease and stressed the importance of research collaboration and the key role that the UK Dementia Research Institute will play.
